Thread veins also known as spider veins and telangiectasia, are small blood vessels that are found close to the surface of the skin.

Rosacea can be a chronic disorder which can be managed, although not currently cured. It is not known what the cause is but it is thought digestive disorders, stress, hormones, diet and lifestyle can have an impact.

Rosacea is most prominent around the cheeks. Characterised by Telangiectasia a condition in which enlarged tiny blood vessels cause thread like red lines or patterns on the skin. The skin is usually flushed and red feeling sensitive and causing irritation. More common in woman aged 30 – 50.
