Moles
Moles are clusters of pigmented cells that grow on the surface of the skin. Most adults have between 10-40 moles, usually found above the waist mainly areas exposed to the sun.
Harmless moles come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Some are round or oval-shaped, with a smooth edge, they can be flat or raised and may feel smooth or rough. They are usually darker on brown and black skin.
UV rays from the sun can sometimes turn a mole cancerous, so it is important to keep an eye on any changes such as colour, texture and shape.
At The Qlinic, we can remove moles by advanced electrolysis. We would need a GP's note confirming that the mole is safe for removal.
