What is IPL?
Laser hair removal is a cosmetic procedure that uses a powerful laser or intense pulsed light (IPL) to remove unwanted hair. This light source heats the dark pigment and destroys hair follicles in the skin, which inhibits hair growth.

Who is suitable for the treatment?
IPL has the best results on fair skin with dark hair. Darker skin types may not be suitable, but this will be discussed at consultation.
How does it feel?
Treatment sensation varies but you can feel what is described as the ‘hot flick’ of an elastic band during treatment. However, thanks to Dynamic Reflex Technology, most clients describe the discomfort as moderate and tolerable.
How many sessions are required?
The number of sessions required varies from client to client and is dependent on many factors. Results can be seen after just a few treatments. However, a minimum of 6 and up to 12 treatments, are recommended to deliver the best results.
Is it permanent?
In most cases yes, however a top up treatment every 6-12 months may be required to prevent hair re-growth.
